The Georgian Circle of Friends (GCOF) is a volunteer group of families who have adopted children from the nation of Georgia. We have three purposes:

- to promote Georgian culture and history
- to support and celebrate adoption
- to assist Georgia in caring for its orphans
Promoting Georgian Culture and History
This web site is intended to help our children, their classmates, and the general public learn about and appreciate the proud, fascinating nation of Georgia. GCOF also holds several annual “reunions” throughout the U.S., where families with children born in Georgia get together.
Supporting and Celebrating Adoption
We welcome all families adopting Georgian-born children, regardless of which agency the families use. This site includes information about international adoptions, and much can pertain to domestic adoptions, as well. Hopscotch Adoptions sponsors our group by paying for this web site’s hosting fees.
Assisting Georgia in Caring for Its Orphans
Georgia is a country that loves its children, but the nation is coming through a difficult time in history. Georgian Children’s Project is a centralized effort to coordinate relief to the children who live in Georgian orphanages today.
