2025 Annual Community Yard Sale Donations

Donation Drop-Off:

Thursday, July 10 5 PM – 8 PM

Friday, July 11 8 AM – 4 PM

Yard Sale: Saturday, July 12, 2025 8 AM – 2 PM

***DONATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON YARD SALE DAY***

We are NOT accepting the following items:

• Artificial flowers

• Baby items (cribs, high chairs, car seats)

• Books & magazines – Look for our Book Sale in November

• Candles or candlesticks

• Clothes

• Electronics (landline phones, computers, VCR’s, answering machines, TV’s, dehumidifiers)

• Exercise equipment

• Holiday items and decorations

• Items on recall

• Luggage without wheels

• Pianos

• Stuffed animals

• CDs, DVDs, VHS or 8 Track Tapes

FURNITURE: We will accept wood furniture in very good condition under 50 lbs. (i.e. small dressers, table & chairs, outdoor furniture, side tables, and bookcases.) NO large scale furniture (greater than 50 lbs) such as wall units, china cabinets, etc.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE (couches, loveseats, etc.). However, we WILL post photos of donated furniture that is available to be picked up at YOUR home nearby. You can submit a photo, measurements & details to yardsalegcof@gmail.com.

TOOLS: All battery-operated tools MUST include live batteries so we can demonstrate that the tool works.

VOLUNTEERS: We need helping hands for Friday and Saturday, all day or just a couple of hours, one day, or both. To sign up for Volunteer hours complete this ONLINE FORM or print it out and drop it off at the mailbox at 1051 Lakeside Drive East, Highland Lakes.
